The listings include the suggested retail prices for the year 1994. The prices should help if you find a doll on the secondary market and are wondering if the selling price is fair.
Of course this does not take into account that some dolls have appreciated in value over the years while others have not.
A new series was added for 1994 - Anne of Green Gables. The Wizard of Oz dolls were put into a separate category from Storyland. The Sound of Music series was discontinued after only two years.
Also in 1994, ADC decided to change their catalog numbering system to a 6 digit number - 3 digits were added in front of the existing catalog numbers for dolls being carried over into 1994. New dolls for 1994 had the 6 digit number.
